Labbaik لَبیک is written by Mumtaz Mufti. Mumtaz Mufti was a Pakistani Urdu Writer. He authored a lot of stuff regarding literature, Socialism, Philosophy and Psychology. Mumtaz mufti born in batala, punjab (now in india). He was son of muhammad hussain and his first wife sughra khannum. He had become a civil servant under british rule and started out his profession as a college teacher. Soon after partition, he migrated to pakistan with his family.
Mumtaz mufti started out writing urdu short stories whilst working as a school teacher before 1947.
