Allama Iqbal was great Poet, Hero and PHilosopher and Thinker. Allama Muhammad Iabal born on 9 November 1877 in sialkot. He get his early education in Silakot and then for higher Education went to Lahore. He also did his Ph.D. in Philosophy. Iqbal, by his poetry, awakened the Muslims and other nations in Hindustan. He urged them to fight for their rights and get rid of slavery of British rule. Iqbal also gave the idea to have separate homeland for Muslim. Later on, in 1947, by the struggle of Quaid e Azam and other great Muslim leaders, the dream of separate homeland was fulfilled in the form of Pakistan. 

But Allama Iqbal couldn't see Pakistan. Because he was died on April 21, 1938. Dr.Allama Muhammad Iqbal is buried in Badshahi Mosque Lahore.

Bang-e-Dara was originally published in 1924, though the poetry was written in 1905, and after that Dr.Iqbal had gone to England and on their return to Hindustan it was published.
