Gone with the wind, a great novel by Margaret Mitchell

Gone with the wind is written by Margaret Mitchell.Margaret Mitchell born in 1900 at Atlanta, Georgia. She was American author and journalist. 

Mitchell belonged to a politically prominent family. Her father, Eugene Muse Mitchell, was an attorney. She was died in 1949 but her book is still keeping her personality and words alive.

The book was published in 1936 and Margaret Mitchell won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 for this book. It was popular among all english readers worldwide. 

A movie was also made on this novel directed by Victor Fleming, George Cukor and Sam Wood.

Katie Scarlett O'Hara.

Captain Rhett K. Butler.

Major George Ashley Wilkes.

Melanie (Hamilton) Wilkes.
